ERMINIA’s franchisees are all affiliated to the Panhellenic Association of Professional Translators, which is the official professional association of translators in Greece. Members of this association, as well as the ERMINIA Network of Translation Centers, participate in training seminars and conferences and are therefore always up to date with the latest market developments.

ERMINIA's Franchisee, Dr. Penny Karanasiou, holds a PhD awarded by Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, in Intercultural Communication and Business Interpreting. In addition, she holds an MA in Bilingual Translation awarded by the University of Westminster, London. She is a member of several professional and research associations in translation and interpretation such as the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL), the European Society for Translation Studies, and the Center for Translation and Interpreting Studies in Scotland (CTISS). Penny also lectures at prestigious UK universities such as the University of Edinburgh.
