Penny Karanasiou is the CEO of the Network of Translation Centers ERMINIA. Penny holds a PhD from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, in Intercultural Communication and Commercial Interpreting. She also holds a master’s degree (MA) in Bilingual Translation from the University of Westminster in London. She is a member of many professional and research translation and interpretation associations, such as the Chartered Institute of Linguists, the European Translation Studies and the Centre for Translation and Interpreting Studies in Scotland (CTISS) and teaches at highly distinguished UK universities such as the University of Edinburgh.
